Properties of High Frequency PCB

High frequency PCBS offer a wide range of features. Knowing these features will help you understand these PCBS.  These printed circuit boards are called high-frequency PCBS because of the characteristics they provide.  Let's look at the properties of these PCBS.

Dissipation factor : HF PCBS dissipation coefficient is low, between 0.0019 and 0.025. This value helps ensure that signal transmission rates are not affected.  Low dissipation coefficient can also improve signal transmission.  A lower loss factor helps to reduce signal loss.

Low and stable dielectric constant: The dielectric constant of high frequency PCB is lower and stable.  This helps ensure frequency transmission.  This also ensures less signal delay.  Lower permittivity results in higher frequency transmission rates.

Chemical resistance: High frequency PCBS can resist chemicals.  These boards can survive a chemical attack.  Because of this property, these boards are less likely to corrode.

Low moisture absorption: These PCBS have low water absorption.  It does not absorb water, so it can withstand wet conditions.

Low dimensional stability: HIGH frequency PCB has low dimensional stability.  These PCBS retain their size no matter what temperature they are exposed to.  Even when they are exposed to high temperatures, their size remains the same.
