T/CPCA 6044-2017 "Printed Board Safety Performance Specification" Release Notice

2020-06-04
With the development of printed circuit board technology and its applications, the industry has put forward more new requirements for the safety of printed circuit boards. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a safety standard that belongs to China's printed circuit boards.

In March 2010, after the planned project was released, Shennan Circuit Co., Ltd., as the team leader, took the lead in forming a working group, including Shennan Circuit Co., Ltd., Shantou Ultrasonic Printed Board Company, and Shenzhen Jingwang Electronics Co., Ltd. Company, Dongguan Shengyi Electronics Co., Ltd., Jiangnan Computing Technology Research Institute, Shenzhen Meixin Testing Co., Ltd. According to the general idea and plan of the Working Group on the "Safety Performance Specification for Printed Circuit Boards", considering the differences in safety performance of different categories of products, the specification is divided into four parts: rigidity, flexibility, thick copper, metal base, each Each group carries out corresponding work.

This standard has been completed for more than 6 years, after many discussions, demonstrations and amendments, and completed T/CPCA 6044-2017 "Printed Board Safety Performance Specification" in March 2017. The requirements and evaluation items related to the safety of printed circuit boards are stipulated. The printed circuit boards include rigid printed circuit boards, thick copper printed circuit boards, metal-based printed circuit boards, and flexible printed circuit boards. This specification applies to the evaluation of the safety performance of printed circuit boards. The printed circuit board that meets the requirements of this specification can be further examined by the supplier and the buyer if necessary to be accepted as a component of the final product.

Here I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the leading unit of this standard, Shennan Circuit Co., Ltd., and the members of the working groups for their hard work.
